Will you log in to RuneScape Classic and long is the classic game available to players?”
RS-Classic is a version of RuneScape which was superceded years ago. We’ve kept this old version online to support some of our loyal players who have been with us since the start, and to offer curious players the opportunity to try it out (as long as they logged in during the two-week open period from 11th November 2009 to 25th November 2009). You must have been a member to have played RuneScape Classic during this period. To become a member, click here. World 1 is only available to RuneScape Classic players who played before the two-week open period. Note: this version is no longer updated or fully supported. If you are a new player, we recommend you instead play the latest-and-greatest version of RuneScape, which contains all the quests and skills of RS-classic and far more besides, right here! Note: If you haven’t played Runescape Classic before 25th November 2009, then you will not be able to log in. You will instead get the message “That is not an RS-Classic account”. This is deli
Runescape as people know it today is not the first version of the game. Runescape Classic was the very first version of Runescape. In terms of game play one of the biggest differences was the change in the combat system where you were no longer committed to three rounds of combat once combat was initiated like it
RuneScape Classic is the original version of RuneScape as it was six years ago in 2004. Playing it gives an interesting look at just how far the game has evolved in the last six years, and has a real retro feel. Classic is not normally open for new users to play, and only ‘classic-enabled’ accounts can play RuneScape Classic. All RuneScape members will be able to log in to Classic during the re-opening period. Note that you must be a member in order to log in to Classic and to ‘Classic Enable’ your account. If you log in to Classic during the re-opening period, your account will become ‘classic enabled’, and you will then continue to be able to log in to Classic even after the re-opening period ends. Once you are logged in you will be able to play forever until your membership expires.
