ATLANTA — We know that many WSB-TV viewers are looking forward to watching Thursday night’s BCS Championship game between Alabama and Texas. Snow is forecast to be falling in metro Atlanta while the game is on. Here is a statement from WSB-TV V.P. and general manager Bill Hoffman about the situation: “We appreciate your desire to comfortably view a significant sports championship. We want to assure you that the staff of WSB-TV wants you to have that experience also. Should there be a question of a need to share severe weather information during this program, as any other, we will definitely consider the viewing experience along with the safety of our north Georgia neighbors. We will try our level best to satisfy both important assignments and use the least intrusive method possible if the weather dictates some form of communication.
