Will we turn members away that can afford to join the UTC Mocs Club at the minimum giving level or greater?
Rather than simply instituting wholesale changes to our structure, UTC Athletics and the Chattanooga Mocs Club want to provide an ample opportunity to transition into our focus on increasing scholarship dollars for student-athletes. For the 2008-09 membership year only (July 1-June 30), any current Chattanooga Mocs Club member who is not also a current Blue & Gold Club member will be recognized as a UTC Mocs Club member at the usual $15/$25 membership rate. Beginning in 2009-10, UTC Mocs Club membership means a gift at the lowest giving level or greater in order to earn membership benefits. All contributors below the lowest level will be considered UTC Mocs Club donors, but will not earn membership benefits. Prospective members should consult the current year’s Benefit Chart to determine what giving level may be most appropriate to join at, based on the desired benefits.
