Will using a yeast infection medicine interfere with the results of a pregnancy test?
No, it won’t. Home pregnancy tests detect HCG, a hormone your body produces during preganancy. The only medications that will interefere with an hpt are certain fertility drugs which may cause a false positive. But make sure that you always test on the first day of your missed period, this will provide the most accurate results because HCG levels are not likely to be detected any earlier, and in some women, HCG levels are very low in early pregnancy and may not be found with an hpt. Always ask your doctor for an HCG blood test, they are accurate and detect low levels.
