Will University of California Riverside ever be top 30 in the national university rankings?

As to whether or not Riverside will go up in the rankings, I wouldn’t say never but they don’t get the same kind of funding and support as some of the other campuses at UC. It’s considered a good school, but currently ranking in the upper 80s I don’t see a sudden climb into the top 30 anytime soon. Its main problem seems to be the quality of its professors. Princeton Review ranked UCR as one of the worst 20 colleges in the nation for “Professors Get Low Marks [for Teaching]”, “Teaching Assistants Teach Too Many Upper-Level Courses” and “Professors Make Themselves Scarce.” Considering the issue of tenure, it may be a couple of decades before this resolves itself. So I think Riverside will stay about the same. In fact, I think most of the UC schools will retain about the same rank. The ones that are highly ranked probably won’t shift much. Irvine has a good chance of going up in the national rankings and I think UC Davis has a shot too (I thought about going to Davis). And of course, Mer
