Will uk schools close after the summer hols?
The Uk government is in my view not as prepared as they say. experts have warned that there will be a surge of cases in the Autumn possibly in the hundreds of thousands and that with children going back to school it gives the virus a chance to mutate and get worse and it is a chance viruses normally take. The UK government have ordered all schools to revise their emergency plans for extended school closure and to prepare to see cases in their schools. We will have to see how bad it gets after the summer but it is highly likely that they will close schools and priorritise children for a vaccine.
