No, I really doubt that there can be an illusion of being in a relationship can ever take place. The only thing that’s close enough is when a pair is going everywhere together and are together all the time, most likely making out and stuff, but if they just haven’t made it official. The case you’re talking of is just getting closer together. It could be just friendly, but in this context I believe that it’s just an indication that something more is actually possible. To round off, I believe this situation should be used as an advantage in getting a girl.
