Will tunnelling work put other infrastructure beneath London at risk?
Great care – including detailed screening work – will be taken prior to the start of construction to avoid any such damage. We are already in touch with Transport for London, British Telecom, Network Rail, the Port of London Authority, Crossrail and others to ensure that the structural integrity of other underground assets is preserved during the construction of the Lee and Thames tunnels.
