Will TUFF II adhere to the rubbery waterproofing memberane on my foundation?
It’s not advisable to apply Tuff II directly over the rubbery waterproofing membrane as a whole, but Tuff II and sticky mesh can usually be used to lap one or two inches over most waterproofing materials, including polyethylene. Over several weeks, the Tuff II will dry, cure and become rigid. Therefore, bond to the waterproofing membrane will not typically be an issue. An alternative is to use FortiFlash, ProtectoWrap, or other waterproofing tape to bridge this transition area.
