Will TSG271 correctly genlock in the presence of SIS?

Most likely, the TSG271 will not lock if Sound-in-Sync is present on the genlock input. The circuit was designed to be able to find the bottom of the sync pulse, and Sound-in-Sync interferes with this process. The VITS201 uses basically the same genlock, and had to be specially modified to work with SIS. The genlock on the test signal generators is designed to use a fairly clean black burst signal as a reference. Trying to lock to other types of signals can cause the genlock to not function correctly.
