Will too much stabilizer (cyanuric acid) damage a marquis pool finish?

0

We are having a problem with our finish and the marquis rep said the main reason was that our stabilizer was really high. He said it was at 400. The local stores had always told us it was at 100, but it wasn’t till I talked to the marquis rep that I found out that pool stores tests never go past 100 anyway. At 100,which is higher than it should be though, the marquis rep said our finish would not have failed. Pool stores say that the finish should not have failed regardless of how high the cyanuric acid is. Please help us> Thank you.
