Will Tiger Woods Appear on The Oprah Show? Releasing very little to the press, Woods did reveal on his personal site this statement: “There is an important and deep principle at stake, the right to some simple human measure of privacy. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions.” As a society, on a whole we do unfortunately have an expectation that when the celebrities we look up to falter, they make a personal statement explaining and apologizing for their actions. Currently keeping out of the public eye in seclusion, Tiger Woods has apparently been approached by Oprah’s staff to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show to speak his truth and save his name.
