Chief Investigator: Ms Sandra Downing Co-Investigators: Ms Joanne Leamy, Dr Darren Russell Amount: $9,997.00 Description: This research will evaluate methods to increase re-screening in clients diagnosed and treated for C.trachomatis at the Cairns Sexual Health Service (CSHS). Eligible participants are clients attending CSHS who are treated for C.trachomatis, intend residing in Cairns for the next 6 months and consent to receiving a follow-up reminder SMS message. HIV positive clients will be excluded. There are two interventions; the first is a standardised message to clients reminding them to return for a re-screen. The second is a standardised message to clients reminding them to return for a re-screen plus an incentive payment at attendance.
