Beginning with the 2006-07 NBA season the Sonics will have separate stand-alone radio and television broadcasts. Radio for the Sonics will be broadcast on 770 KTTH AM while television broadcasts will continue on FSN Northwest. The radio broadcasts on 770 KTTH AM will feature new stand-alone talent soon to be selected by the Sonics organization. Sonics play-by-play talent Kevin Calabro will remain a Sonics employee and will call all Sonics games broadcast on FSN Northwest and all Sonics radio-only broadcasts. Sonics radio-only broadcasts include preseason games, nationally televised games not aired in conjunction with FSN Northwest and all playoff games.
