Will there be increased traffic or parking problems in areas close to the Celtic Manor Resort such as Ringland during The Ryder Cup?

No. Spectators of The Ryder Cup will not be able to walk, cycle or drive onto the site and therefore there will be no problems with spectators parking in Ringland and walking onto the site. All spectators who travel by car will have to park in one of two official park and ride sites at Llanwern or Tredegar House. As a result there is no anticipated additional traffic movement expected around neighbouring estates. Despite this, the council is currently looking at areas to impose a temporary prohibition of parking, which if enforced correctly will avoid this issue.
