Glastir ACRES the Agricultural Carbon Reduction and Efficiency Scheme (ACRES) will be available to farmers with an All-Wales Element Glastir contract to apply for a capital grant for energy efficiency improvements, heat generation, water efficiency and manure/slurry efficiency. Renewable electricity generation will not be supported by the scheme since the UK Feed In Tariffs scheme (FiTs) is now operational (see 6.3 and 6.4).
