Updated Jan. 28, 2010 at 2:22 p.m. Apple’s new iPad is a hit with Epic Games executive CARY, N.C. – In a couple of interviews with videogame industry Web sites, Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein sang the praises for Apple’s new iPad tablet device. Rein attended the Apple device’s premier on Wednesday. “I really like the device and I think it is going to be great for gaming,” Rein told the site Gamasutra. “I thought the game demos at the event were amazing, considering the developers on stage only had a few weeks of access to it,” he added. He made similar remarks to Kotaku. “I am really impressed with the iPad,” Rein said. “The quality of the materials is outstanding. The screen is amazing and the super-sized apps were fantastic.
