Will there be a devastating impact of “path to citizenship” for 12 million illegals?
Granting U.S. citizenship to 12 million (or more) illegal immigrants will lead to an explosion of legal and illegal immigration, therefore more job seekers, and users of energy, health care and other social services. With millions of newly naturalized adults becoming potential voters, there is little chance that our immigration laws will be seriously enforced. Furthermore, millions of amnestied and naturalized citizens will likely bring in their extended their families. They and their foreign-born relatives are likely to have children born in the U.S.
