Will there be a ceremony to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Ortona?

Yes. EF’s Remembering the Italian Campaign tour includes an exclusive remembrance ceremony in Ortona on December 28th, 2008 – the actual anniversary date – to honour the soldiers that fought so bravely at Ortona and in the Italian Campaign. Every EF tour to Ortona, regardless of which tour and departure date you choose, includes a special 65th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony. In some cases, if there several groups on tour at the same time, you will have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony with hundreds of other teachers and students from all over Canada.
