Will the WWE vs. TNA war on January 4th 2010 bring any changes to either company?
No matter what the outcome is, TNA is going to go through changes. All this talk about re-starting the Monday Night Wars, is just that right now talk. There is no way TNA can compete with the WWE head to head right now, I mean they’re barely pulling a .8 (on average) in the ratings right now going up against nothing. Their last show to recieve ratings was the December 17th show, here’s the breakdown of the ratings: The segment-by-segment breakdown saw Roxxi vs. ODB gain 85,000 viewers and Matt Morgan vs. Brother Ray in a Lumberjack gain 42,000 viewers to the show’s peak rating of 1.13. Taylor Wilde and Sarita vs. Hamada and Kong vs. Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne lost a surprising 297,000 viewers. The match with Jay Lethal vs. Tatanka gained 99,000 viewers while the much hyped segment with Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter lost 99,000 viewers.
