Will the world really end in 2012 because of what the prophecies say?
No, that’s a hoax. That calender doesn’t end. Calendars don’t. And the day in 2012 on that calender is just a celebration of the anniversary of the creation of the world in their myths. Just a god or two was expected to show up for the party. No end of the world. All that doom and gloom crap was made up by a self-proclaimed new age guru back in the 1980s named Jose Arguelles would couldn’t really read Mayan. Then a bunch of other conspiracy theorists thought that date sounded cool, so they changed all their hoaxes to match it. I’m not kidding. The source of it is actually just a bunch of nutjobs making of stories that aren’t good enough to be bad sci-fi. Unless some German movie director decides to turn it into a bad sci-fi disaster porn, which is why people have actually heard of the nutjob story.
