Will the vehicles battery run down or be drained of power when the ignition is shut-off during activation of the final function of the ClearDrain System?
A. No. When the ignition is turned-off the electrical supply to the ClearDrain System is also cut off. This permits air from the secondary tank to activate the ClearDrain valve internally. This activation is performed by air and not by electrical energy. When the ignition is turned on, the solenoid in the ClearDrain valve closes the air line from the secondary tank to the valve itself. This seals the wet tank thereby allowing air pressure to rebuild. Electrical current flows to the ClearDrain System only while the vehicle is running or if the ignition is on.
