Will the V-MP3H cope with downloading Canon raw files (CRW) to its hard drive from Compactflash cards and Microdrives?
The V-MP3H allows to copy all the files from your memory card to the Hard disk when you do as follows: – switch on the V-MP3H with the CF or MicroDrive card inserted – you have a Menu “DEVICE” with 3 options: A.CF/MDV , B.HDISK, C.COPY – at the bottom you see also “Auto – Copy to HDD” – press the AUTO button – you see then the Free Space on the hard disk. Press Enter to continue – you will see the files from your memory card being copied to the VMP3H until it stops and displays “File Copy Ok” – all the files transferred will be accessible in the directory “CARD0001” (if this is the first transfer performed) The V-MP3H will stored the Raw files (and any other type of file) but you will be able to access them via USB only. The V-MP3H displays only JPEG, MPEG, and MP3.
