Will the use of the Emgard synthetic gear lubricants help my fuel economy?
Laboratory and field testing has shown that the use of the Emgard gear lubricants in the transmission and drive axles will give approximately a 1% increase in fuel economy compared to conventional petroleum SAE 90 grade gear oils. Colder ambient temperatures will usually give even higher fuel savings. This is like getting an extra gallon of diesel fuel for every 100 gallons purchased.
