As a medium of exchange, not until all monetary units become worthless, as an actual value, it already is.

I doubt worthless, though it could diminish in value even further… sure…

I don’t think so. Many, if not all, central banks around the world have huge US dollar reserves. The economy of the whole world would be thrown into disarray if the greenback became worthless. It’s not good for everyone.
