Will the Tories start witch-hunting illegal immigrants if they ever win?
It’s political spin. The present government and the law enforcement services are all keen to remove as many illegal immigrants as possible – they’re just not very good at it. To increase the numbers means more resources and better training – that means more money. It’s certainly not Tory policy to spend money on anything.
