Anthony Frank “Tony” Hawk (born May 12, 1968) is an American professional skateboarder. Tony gained significant fame for completing the first 900 at the 1999 X-Games. There have been rumors swirling around the game coming with some sort of peripheral. Well, thanks to GameTrailers.TV, we can now confirm those rumors. It looks like Tony Hawk’s tenth installment will be called Tony Hawk Ride and will feature a gigantic fake plastic skateboard. We know that the game is scheduled to come out on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii sometime this year. One has to assume that this gigantic skateboard and the game will be on display at this year’s E3, coming up in just a couple of weeks.
Well, after being Tony Hawk-less last year, fans will be delighted to find that Activision hasn’t been resting on its laurels. The publisher of the skateboarding game has been working on Tony Hawk Ride, a game that works with a new peripheral. It’s long, it’s black and it, uh, looks like a skateboard. It’s definitely going to be an interesting E3.
