Will the TAC consider funding cyclical tasks, eg. gutter cleaning, window cleaning and pruning as Housekeeping Services?
The TAC will consider funding reasonable cyclical tasks for clients who: • undertook the task prior to their transport accident • meet eligibility criteria for Housekeeping Services • will be incapacitated as a consequence of their transport accident injuries for an extended period of time. Who can provide household support? The Transport Accident Act 1986 specifies that Housekeeping Services can be provided by an agency or an individual who has been authorised by the TAC. In all circumstances a client must obtain prior written approval from the TAC before engaging a provider to perform Housekeeping Services. The TAC will fund the reasonable cost of Housekeeping Services for a client who is eligible in line with the TAC Fee Schedule. Will the TAC fund Housekeeping Services on the claim of a client who has died as a result of their transport
