After having six landing opportunities today for Space Shuttle Atlantis, STS-125 Entry Flight Directory, Norm Knight has waved off the chances of the Shuttle returning home today. Capcom Greg Johnson explained to the crew of Atlantis that the weather did not permit a Kennedy Landing Toady. “There’s a chance for a landing at Kennedy tomorrow (Sunday), and we’re going to keep that option open. Edwards remains good for tomorrow and Monday, if needed.” The landing tomorrow is scheduled for 10:11AM EDT at Kennedy Space Center, weather permitting of course. I’m sure the crew on Atlantis are eager to return back home to see their families and to share the wonderful work that they have accomplished in space, repairing the Hubble Space Telescope.
