Will the Scarlatti Upsampler upsample to DXD (352.8 kS/s) and 384 kS/s?
To the best of our knowledge there are a number of Transports and DACs in the world which feature DXD on board simply through the doubling up of the use of the usual off-the-shelf chip sets – and that is exactly the approach we avoid. We invented the format itself in the professional arena so we do understand it and its uses. However, since many customers will never use DXD or 384kS/s and many cannot because their DAC will not accept this incoming data rate, we may launch this feature as an update to Scarlatti Upsampler and Scarlatti DAC.
