All display teams are aware that adverse weather may upset their schedule, leading even to a cancelled show. There is, however, a version of the display which caters for slightly inclement weather conditions, which are not enough to call off the show. This sequence may not cover the entire range of aerobatics and the various displays, yet consists of enough sequences to keep the show alive and keep the spectators from total disappointment. This bad weather sequence, nonetheless, is flown within even tighter safety parameters (as compared to the regular version) keeping visibility/cloud base/winds as the main considerations. This back-up diluted show is practiced with the same professionalism and precision as the main display. The ‘bad weather’ version is practiced mainly when displays are planned for grand ceremonial occasions, where a bit of display would convey the spirit of the occasion rather than go without it totally.
