Will the PPF accept cheques in payment of protection Levy invoices?
Payment using electronic methods (BACS, CHAPS, Internet Banking) are the most efficient and secure ways of paying your Protection Levy invoice. If it is absolutely impossible for you to use any of these methods, then of course the PPF will accept payment by cheque. Please make your cheque payable to “The Pension Protection Fund” and make sure you have referred to the invoice(s) you are settling – for example, by enclosing a photocopy of the front page of the invoice itself.
