Will the Nintendo DS Lite gaming system ever be available again?
January 02, 2007 – As well as trying to meet the huge demand for their latest home console, Wii, Nintendo have boosted production for their hot little portable console, the DS Lite. Having sold millions in 2006, it quickly became the best selling console in that year. In response to this popularity, Nintendo have increased their monthly production numbers of the DS Lite from 2.2 million to 2.5 million. Officially, 28 million units have been sold worldwide, with 15 million being in Japan alone. 8.5 million have been sold in Europe as of December 13, 2006, and 6.5 million have been sold in the US as of November 30, 2006.
