The Provider Electronic Solutions software will allow interactive and batch submission of EVS requests. Providers who construct HIPAA electronic transactions can also submit batches of 270 (HIPAA eligibility request) records for processing. The Internet EVS accessed via your Provider ID and password will handle only interactive transactions. Please note that in addition to the 270/271 Eligibility Inquiry and Response transaction, the Provider Electronic Solutions software also supports 837 Institutional Inpatient, 837 Institutional Nursing Home, 837 Professional, 837 Dental, the 835 Electronic Remittance Advices, and NCPDP (Pharmacy Interactive and Batch).
