Will the new Bahams site impact the ability to increase new clinical rotations?
The new Bahamas site will not impact the availability of clinical rotations. Ross University continues to have considerable success increasing the number of clinical rotation sites to meet both current and anticipated requirements. Opening the Bahamas location was not based on enrollment figures beyond those already projected, and was done primarily to alleviate current overcrowding of the Dominica campus. Ross has taken the necessary steps to ensure that the opening of the Bahamas location will not negatively impact the University’s ongoing endeavors to expand the number of clinical rotations in the U.S. Ross recently added a number of new core clinical rotations and electives to its growing roster of affiliates across the country, and will continue to increase its clinical rotations. The new core spots will be located at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut; Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York; and Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
