Will the Maine Turnpikes commuter discount program continue under E-ZPass?
Yes. The new E-ZPass Personal Account gives customers the option of attaching a Commuter Plan to any E-ZPass tag purchased. The Commuter Plan provides substantial discounts for frequent travel between any two selected exits for a three month period. We strongly encourage all commuters to establish at least a minimum prepaid balance along with their Commuter Plan to assure savings and convenience when traveling outside their selected commuter zone, but a prepaid balance is not required to set up a Commuter Plan.
