Will the magnetic field generated by the Sherlock* Tip Location System stylet interfere with cardiac rhythm devices?

0

The Sherlock* TLS can be used on patients who have cardiac rhythm devices (e.g., pacemakers and defibrillators) implanted. However, when a cardiac rhythm device is present, it is recommended that the Sherlock* Tip Location System stylet be placed on the contralateral side. Temporary disruption of the cardiac rhythm device may occur if the Sherlock* TLS stylet passes within 0.4 in (1 cm) of the cardiac rhythm device. Use care if placing the Sherlock* TLS stylet on the same side as the cardiac rhythm device. Please refer to the Instructions for Use for additional information on the Sherlock* Tip Location System.
