Will the longer class periods go beyond a students attention span?
Learning from school districts that have previously implemented the trimester schedule, it will continue to be important for us to stress to our staff the importance of instructional design strategies- such as, every 7-12 minutes there should be a classroom transition. This type of teaching will allow our students the opportunity to learn at a pace which allows for retention.
