Will the LM267X softstart function be affected by a widely-varying regulator load?
Softstart is not affected by the load current drawn from the LM267X switching regulators. A softstart capacitor connected from the Softstart pin to ground allows for a slow turn-on of the IC . The softstart capacitor controls the rate at which the regulator starts up at power ON, by allowing the duty cycle of the internal power switch to gradually increase to its final value.
