Will the Ipod Touch Price go down below 200$?
Don’t count on it. 1st gen touch was more expensive, I think it was about 279. When the second gen touch was announced, there was no price drop for the second gen. Then when the day came, and the 2nd gen hit the shelves (8GB) it was 229. What did they do with first gen? They dropped the price to match the 2nd gen. Totally dumb, but people that aren’t paying attention were buying those left over 1st gen for the same price as 2nd gen. Apple keeps a tight lid on their prices, that’s why the price is the same within a few dollars at Target, walmart and apple store. So 3rd gen, I’m going to take a guess that the price won’t drop much and probably won’t drop at all. If it does drop, 199 might be the price. So if that’s the case, they might do what they did before match the price for 2nd gen. At that point, no reason to go with the old one. But I feel like the 3rd gen device will do more and have more bells and whistles, I’d bet the price stays the same or goes up by just a bit, but again, th
