Will the Indian diaspora be victimized?
Terrorist groups scan the globe in search of followers for their cause. India has seen bloodshed for the last few decades at the hands of Pakistan state-sponsored terrorism. This gradually took a monstrous shape with the fundamentalists striking virtually at will, inspired or supported by organizations such as the Taliban or Al Queda. The fact that Jihad has taken such alarming proposition spells danger to the international community. The war on terrorism sponsored by the USA after 9/11, has compelled even terrorist states like Pakistan to have a re-look. President Musharraf is now compelled to wage war on Muslim radicals who are plotting and planning a revival of the Taliban movement in their country. The recent takeover of the Lal Masjid by terrorists and their direct conflict with the military establishment is the future of fundamentalists who use madrassas to preach terrorism. The involvement of Bangalore-based doctors in the futile bombings in Britain is a very disturbing trend. B
