Will the Impz take away print jobs from the UAE industry or help create a new market?
Any project planned by the government of the UAE has always been to support the industry in the country. The main intention behind the free zones as a concept is to support the economy of the country in terms of creating jobs, bringing in new products, and allowing foreign investment to interact with local investment. I believe that the same competition could be created locally. It is a matter of upgrading oneself, trying to look at best practises, providing quality service and such work will be recognised, no matter where you operate from. What is your message to the printing community of the UAE? The Printing & Publishing sector has gained a lot of recognition with the creation of the Dubai Media City and the use of the latest technology in most printing houses of the UAE. We need to keep this gain, maintain our status as a centre of printing for the region and improve upon it by becoming a major centre for printing on a global basis.
