Will the Health and Social Care Integration Programme (HSCIP) offer opportunities for other IT system providers to become involved?
The Call for Expressions of Interest was focused on social services systems, in line with policy and operational demands for integration between NHS and social services systems. The Existing Systems Programme (ESP) within NHS Connecting for Health provides a mechanism for other existing IT system providers to connect to the NHS Care Records Service (NHS CRS). The Existing Systems Programme is agreed with the NHS, in line with its priorities.
