Will the Government increase Autogas tax?
Highly unlikely. The tax on gas fuels is more likely to be lowered even further to come in line with other European countries and any future EU emissions requirements, whereas petrol and diesel are both due to rise every year. Both the Conservative and Labour Governments pledged to cut down on vehicle emissions, and the Government car service is converting its own fleet to alternatively-fuelled vehicles.
