that anything launched by Google tends to be successful. I was expecting them to launch a browser right after Google talk came out. I guess they were doing a lot of research by observing the Mozilla Community. Going open source will probably work in Google’s favor. They will manage to steer away a lot of users from Firefox. They still need a developer community to work on plugins.
