Will the global capitalist system end up destroying us?
It’s simple. The capitalist system will continue until virtually all of the resources on the planet are drained. After the vast majority of resources are drained there will be a brutal fall out where everyone will kill one another for the remaining resources. We will go back to much more simplistic times. Lucky for you and I this will not happen for awhile. Edit: I have noticed that the majority of people are deluded enough to believe that the life that we live in the US is somehow sustainable for every nation. To believe that this is sustainable takes incredible ignorance. Economic resources do not spring up out of thin air. The study of economics is the study of scarcity. The realization that resources are not infinite, but finite.
