Yes, the general public can make credit card donations to nonprofits that have completed their profiles. CFT will disburse the donated funds to the nonprofit and provide charitable contribution verification to the donor. CFT cannot process a gift through DonorBridge where there is personal gain or purchase (i.e. event tickets, auction items, T-shirt purchase, membership dues, etc.). CFT does not provide legal, tax, financial, or any other types of advice to prospective donors and suggests that all prospective donors seek the assistance of legal, tax, and financial advisors of their choice concerning matters related to their proposed gifts.
