Will the earth eventually recover from the effects of global warming when fossil fuels run out?

Yes, the earth will eventually recover, over thousands of years. The carbon we release into the atmosphere will be incorporated, over time, into plants and trees, and then into the bodies of animals, fish etc…… These will die, be covered by layers and layers of sediment, water, moving continents and all that, be compressed, and chemically changed, and eventually become buried oil, coal and gas once again (for future generations of cybernetic alien beings, or hyper-evolved cockroaches or whatever). The carbon cycle is a very very long cycle, but it will right itself in the end. The question is whether we manage to destroy our own habitat or the habitat of much of the world’s wildlife in the meantime…..
