Will the Dynamat Xtreme Computer Kit work if installed on the outside of the computer case?
Yes. You can install Dynamat Xtreme on the outside of the computer case for noise reduction. Doing so is a good solution if you do not want to open the case for fear of voiding your computer’s warranty–and you get the added benefit of seeing Dynamat’s cool logos! Note that you should not apply Dynamat Xtreme to the outside bottom of the computer case. Dynamat Xtreme’s visco-elastic damping material is extremely sticky and can adhere to your carpet or floor, from which it is hard to remove.
