Natalie Maine’s started it all off by badmouthing President Bush and how he had a huge dislike for country music, and yet his love for the music in not even questionable. At one of thier concerts she showed a picture of George Bush with horns on his head. Then they started to lose the fans. Months later Toby Keith had a picture put up at one of his concerts… a picture of Natalie with the same horns on her head. She then badmouthed Toby Keith as the fans grew behind him in support of the Dixie Chicks Takedown. When Reba commented on the sitaution she got badmouthed as well! Most country stations refuse to play them, but once in awhile you can hear Cowboy Take Me Away but not much else.
